Many pages within the Perceptions Sites templates utilize the GenerateBlocks Headline block. This is different from the default WordPress Heading block. The Headline block provides many more options for granular styling.
Updating headline-specific styles #
The Headline block allows you to change the element type (different heading numbers, or output just plain paragraph text), alignment, font size and other typography controls, colors, spacing, and backgrounds. Read more about the headline block options in the GenerateBlocks documentation.
Updating headline block icons #
Some Perceptions Sites templates have icons added to the Headline block, particularly in the issues sections. To remove or change these icons, select the specific headline block you want to update, then look for the Icon settings within the block. To remove an icon, click the “Clear” button in the Icon SVG HTML section. To choose a different standard icon, click on one of the icons below. Clicking to select will fill in the appropriate HTML code in the Icon SVG HTML input box.
If you want a custom icon that is not listed, the best source is Font Awesome, where there are hundreds of free icons to choose from. Find the icon of your choice, then click on the “Copy SVG code” button. This will copy the code to your clipboard. Next, paste that code into the Icon SVG HTML input box.
